NETCONF WG

NETCONF (for network configuration) is an IETF Working Group chartered to produce a protocol for network configuration. These pages used to be a user-friendly entry point to the activities of the group. We'll keep them around as a historical archive, but as said above, for current information, see the NETCONF Wiki.

YencaP, a Netconf agent for Linux implemented in Python, distributed under LGPL as part of the EnSuite (Extended Netconf Suite) collection. http://libresource.inria.fr/projects/ensuite
YENCA, a Netconf agent for Linux implemented in C, available under GPL on SourceForge
Tail-f Systems has a Netconf agent as well as command line and web interfaces, SNMP agent, and integrated configuration store. Tail-f also has a Netconf manager library that can be integrated with Element Management Systems.
embeddedMIND™ from Silicon&Software Systems (S3) now has an extensible Netconf agent with integrated configuration store and CLI, SNMP and Web interfaces.
XML Based Device Management by Wipro, including an agent written in C and a manager in Java
An implementation written in C from NEC Europe Ltd in Germany
